Professional waxing results typically last 3–4 weeks depending on your hair growth rate. Over time with regular waxing, hair regrows finer and sparser, meaning each session gets easier and lasts longer.
Brazilian wax at Primrose is $45. Full body wax is $150. Underarms are $10. All prices are transparent — no surprise charges at the salon.
Hair should be approximately 5–7mm long (about the length of a rice grain) for best waxing results. If hair is too short, wax cannot grip it properly. If you have been shaving, wait approximately 2–3 weeks before your first waxing appointment.
There is a brief discomfort when wax is removed, but our therapists work quickly and use high-quality wax formulas to minimise discomfort. Most clients find the sensation very manageable. Regular waxing over time becomes progressively less uncomfortable as hair grows back finer.
Yes — we use specialist wax formulas designed for sensitive skin. Please let your therapist know about any skin sensitivities, allergies or conditions before your appointment. Avoid waxing if you are using retinol, Accutane or have recently had skin treatments.
For 24 hours after waxing: avoid hot showers, swimming, sun exposure, heavy exercise and tight clothing on waxed areas. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser. Avoid exfoliating for 48 hours. We will provide full aftercare instructions at your appointment.
